Description: Vintage Handmade Guatemalan Textile Art Circa late 70’s early 80’s 38”x 54” Original handmade woven textile from Guatemala. Purchased in the local street markets when we lived there from 75 through early 80’s Fabrics are single owner pieces that have been stored for many years with great ideas of using them or displaying them but have just been stored away in a closet for years. This is a very old fabric with color discoloration, fabric yellowing or stains and condition consistent with the age of the fabric. Some snags and the middle seam seems to be loosening up. Unsure if this is something that can be corrected. Additionally, the fabric has a “stored” smell and probably would benefit from professional cleaning and treatment. Sold as is.
