Description: Vintage decanter set is a good example of depression glass. This pattern is attributed to Hazel-Atlas (produced in the 1930's and discontinued in 1938), as well as to Maryland Glass Co. Two versions were made: cobalt blue and clear (more rare). Some call the pattern Ring of Rings and others say Ring 'o Rings. Here we have a clear decanter with stopper plus 6 whiskey glasses. Decanter is very solid. It stands 10" tall with stopper in place. Its diameter is 4 1/2" at the widest part. Decanter holds 24 oz. There is no cork around the stopper, and I don't know if there ever was. Decanter is marked with the number 2. Glasses hold 3 oz. They are 3" tall, and have a rim diameter of 2 1/4" They are numbered 1 thru 6. This set belonged to my grandparents and it is in very good vintage condition. I found a flea bite on the rim of glass #1 (see photo). Thanks for looking.
