Description: This mid Century Modern design item dates to the 1950's and was made by Marad Wall Decor Company for Henry J Koons. This is the Father of Famous Artist Jeff Koons, he had a shop in New York city at the time. This is the Chessman Series and is the Image of the Rook. This measures overall 11" x 16". There are a few lines in the image, like crazing, in the background part, only seen when you look for them. This has the LORI signature/mark in the lower right hand corner.
