Description: Vintage Hinged Wood Box Dovetail Lock Mirror Footed. Approx. 9.25" long x 6.25 wide x 3.75" tall. Someone really made this box special! Lovely gold-tone metal design accents and hook & eye closure. There is a heart-shape lock attached, but NO Key. There is a lid stay so the mirror stays upright; mirror has rose decoration and framed with gold foil cardboard. The bottom is lined with brown gingham contact paper. Overall great condition but there are signs of wear and age: some scratches to the wood; and a small chink on the mirror. The hinges may need to be hammered in a bit and one piece does poke to the inside of the box. The lock is attached to the closure and there is no key; the closure still works and a new lock can be added if desired. Oh, and there's a handprint on the bottom!
