Description: Vintage Hopalong Casssidy Lot- Records, Wallets and a Birthday Card 1950’s You are bidding on a small series of Hopalong Cassidy memorabilia. There is a record album released in 1950 entitled Hopalong Cassidy and the Singing Bandit featuring Bill Boyd with California and “Lucky”, two leather wallets (one identified and the other not) and an official Hopalong Cassidy Birthday card by Bozza Cardoza. The record album has a portfolio of black and white photographs and 17 pages of dialogue and narration. When one plays the records and Hopalong’s horse Topper winnies the listener turns the page offering an interactive activity for the listener. There is some wear and marks on the album cover and book pages. One of the wallets is a folding leather billfold. It has Hopalong and Topper on the face. They are both in silver. I was able to find other similar items attributed to Hopalong. The second wallet that is also worn has a medallion on its face. I was unable to get an attribution to the wallet. There is a hatted cowboy and a horse. The wallet is zippered. The wallets were both used by the grammar school aged owner. They show rubs and wear. The fourth and final item is a folding birthday card that is designed in the form of a double holstered gun belt. The interior states: For a Happy Day and a Bang up year. Each handle of the 6 guns has a rhinestone. The card is inscribed with the comment from Hopalong stating: Here’s a double barreled birthday wish. The card is in good shape. No tears or creases. The card was signed by the gift giver, Douglas.
