Description: Offering this Vintage Ile de la Reunion Pottery Salt & Pepper Shaker Set in great shape from a family estate collection. Made from a ceramic pottery with the salt slightly larger than the pepper. Both have plastic plugs but I do not know if they are original. Decorative & colorful. Ile de la Reunion is a French Department Volcanic Island in the Indian Ocean to the east of Madagascar. It is my understanding a family member traveled there at some point 35-45 years ago but I cannot confirm with 100% surety. Island name impressed into the ceramic.
