Description: This apothecary resembled medicine bottle resembles the Old West bottles sold by snake oil salesmen across the country during the late 1800 and early 1900s. The beautiful earthy glaze color, aged label, and cork so resemble those of days gone by. These were sold off and on by IMAX starting in the 1990s. Although not antique they are currently not selling them and checking online the companies that do sell these have Out of Stock and No date of when They will return. If I'm correct, they had a collection of three of these bottles. This is made of terracotta, stone, and glaze. These bottles were made in the Philippines which is where I purchased this in 1991. I have used it as decor. It held many dandelion bouquets, or other flowering weeds from my children when they were young. It has a few chips of the glaze only on the back side right at the edge where the back meets the bottom. It is not perfectly round and the glaze is not perfect. These were handmade by artisans in the Philippines so they are not perfect. The bottle with the cork top is beautiful even if you wanted to remove the label. It measures 10" tall x 5" across and deep. Please see the pictures as they are part of the description. ***** Please note eBay does apply and collect sales tax to orders that are in states that require sales tax to be collected. As a seller I do not set the tax rate nor do I collect it. It goes directly to eBay at the time of sale for them to submit to your state. ***** ***** Items ship Monday - Friday (LOC 08-21-23-1)
