The glass was described as "rubi" and later marketed as "Rubigold".Imperial Glass Company produced the grape ruby pattern in many shapes, but most colors were limited. The pattern was featured in Butler Bros Catalogs from 1911 to 1927. Imperial reissued the pattern in the late 1950s through the 1980s. Imperial Glass Company was incorporated in 1901 and produced its first glass in 1904. The company ended production until 1984.
