Not only is this a gorgeous art piece, it is a piece of history and amazing example of American ceramics and stoneware. The organic shape carries impressions from the artist’s hands. In areas, you can tell where a thumb indented the overall orb structure. The piece is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Crazing is present. The interior is clean. This skillful application of a subdued abstract glaze pattern is known as “confetti”.
