Description: This vintage German Karl Greisbaum singing bird cage music box automaton is a rare find. The bird head and tail move but no sound . Both bellows are there. One is working and maybe the other is not. This explains why the bird is moving and there is no sound??. Switches appear to work fine. The cage is made of brass perhaps and the bird is crafted with attention to detail. Has been very well kept and stored. Coming from a non smoking home. No rust and is very nice condition for its age. The brand is KARL GRIESBAUM, and the music box was manufactured in Germany in the early 1900's. This collectible falls under the decorative category and is perfect for music box enthusiasts. The item is in good working order as we can tell other than no sound. Again, Both bellows are present. Again, looks like one of the bellows may not be working, regarding the sound. Very rare.
