Description: Karu jewelry is believed to be the collaboration of Kaufman and Ruderman in 1940's, in New York City. Their jewelry was produced from the 1940's to 1970's. Karu's mark was first used in 1940. At first glance, Karu?s quality designs look much like the work of other quality manufacturers like Weiss or Weisner. Though not well known Karu's jewelry is well made and as such is quite collectible. I purchased these beautiful Karu Arke Inc. clip-ons from an estate many, many years ago while living in Wisconsin, and they have been in one of my jewelry armoires ever since. I love anything that sparkles and these definitely have fire in them. All of the stones are prong-set and their clip-on backs are stamped Karu Arke Inc. I believe these are from the 1940's - 1950's as it was an elderly estate. I do not accept returns so please ask questions before purchasing as all sales are final.
