When I find items that have been stored away and not worn for years, I choose to leave them that way. Having worked with vintage for decades, I don’t like to do anything to distract from the ”true vintageness” of an item. I like to give the buyer the option as to whether or not they want the item to smell fragrant like a detergent. Some people like this some people do not. Care instructions on the label indicate garment may be machine washed seperately. Cate for and use laundry products the way you choose.
