The picture is 8.5 " tall with an applied glass handle and sits on a pedestal base. This pitcher would also be good for opening up and airing out a bottle of red wine for dinner guests. No chips or cracks. 6 cups fill it to the bottom of the carafe neck. Can also be used for chilling water in the fridge before guests arrive.
