Description: Vintage LaMode blush and powder compact with mirror. Lot #240. Materials appear to be brass and stainless steel. Gold tone. Top cover has very light enameling of flowers and leafs. Center of top cover has a heart shape, but it looks like something was adhered to the heart and is no longer there. The heart has the adhesion material still in place and needs to be cleaned. Condition is used with wear. The item needs a good thorough cleaning. Nice vintage piece. Top and side rim have nice detail. Back is plain. Back does show wear. Piece measures approximately 2 1/4 inches diameter by 3/8 inch depth. Magnet does not stick to the compacts main case, but does stick to the mirror. There are no markings found on the compact other than “LaMode” on the puff. Mirror and compact close tightly. Item could use a good thorough cleaning and should clean up nicely. The wear is from daily use and being carried around in a pocketbook. Item is sold as is and as found. Please look at pictures. Ask any questions.
