Vintage sizes were based upon sizes of past when customers wore their clothing far smaller & tighter and manufacturers based sizes upon approximate actual measures and were sometimes sewn tighter than today designers who give a few extra inches for a loser fit. The measurements provided are are only "approximate" not an exact science and may vary some. I am not the manufacturer & do not assume responsibility of how a buyer want a fit. A customer may use the offered approximate measurement but may want a looser fit so may need to size up for such a reason. If a garment does not fit. the buyer will pay the ships fees for any return. USPS shipping costs have risen drastically. Ebay rules indicate tracking is mandatory as proof of delivery so a simple envelope with a postage stamp will not suffice in accordance and must comply with ebay and paypal rules. I keep shipping fees lower by using recycled ship material boxes when need to protect the item being shipped.
