Up For Sale Is A LEGOLAND Classic Space System Set: 497 Galaxy Explorer (AKA 928 Space Cruiser with Moon Base )100% Complete with Very Good Box, Instructions & Lego Assortment Guide.Verified complete & proper via Bricklink. Condition is Used, but overall Very Good+ condition. A Classic LEGOLAND Space System set, Vintage 1979~! Of particular note: * Very Good ~ Excellent condition and color consistency overall in blue and gray pieces. White pieces still nice and white. Overall Vintage parts with the proper moulding marks/pips. Parts were inspected piece-by-piece and overall look to be free of major marks or damage. Likely a set that was not played with much before being put into storage. An excellent condition set for previously owned. See pix for details. * Transparent yellow pieces are Very Good~Excellent condition and very clear overall, and without major scuffing, crazing or cracking. * Printed pieces overall have super nice printing. 3939p91 Blue Slope 33 3 x 6 with Inner Walls with Classic Space Logo Large Pattern is Very Good+ with a crisp print and Very Good+ gold crater details. 3010p928 Blue Brick 1 x 4 with White 'LL 928' Pattern are both Very Good+. 3004p90 Blue Brick 1 x 2 with Classic Space Logo Pattern are Very Good+ with crisp prints and very golden moons.* 3947a Light Gray Baseplate, Raised 32 x 32 Crater Plate without Crater Studs is Very Good overall & straight. * Landing base plate, 6099px2 Light Gray Baseplate, Road 32 x 32 9-Stud Landing Pad with Yellow Circle, 1-way Lines Pattern is Very Good overall & straight with a very good print. * Rare & delicate old gray aerial 3144 Antenna 6 Studs High with 8 Side Spokes is Excellent & straight. 3839a Plate Specialty 1 x 2 with Handles are all matched with round ends. 3940 Space Stand 2 x 2 x 2, Support all proper vintage with blind holes. 3943a Cone 4 x 4 x 2 proper vintage without Axle Hole. 3838Minifig Accessory Airtanks vintage with pip on tanks. * SP006 Spaceman is VG~EX condition, with an VG~EX Golden moon logo. * SP006 Spaceman is VG~EX condition, with an VG~ Golden moon logo. * SP005 Spaceman is VG~EX condition, with an VG~EX Golden moon logo. * SP005 Spaceman is VG~EX condition, with an VG~EX Golden moon logo. O.G. Spacemen, all with solid stud heads, thin chin straps, pip on tanks & hollow torsos! * All of the Spaceman's tools (minifigure utensils) are present. * 497 Box is Very Good+ overall; Complete exterior box, inner box, clear plastic tray & lid. Intact ends and flaps. One locking tab worn but attached, the other is pristine, likely never opened. The worn tab & slot had partially split/torn and were repaired with glue and reinforced with paper from the inside. Lid still securely attached w/ excellent inner graphic. Very Good color graphics all around. Lower right corner of upper "frame" had completely split/torn and been previously repaired with masking tape which hardened & released w/ age. Corner was more properly repaired with glue and reinforced from the inside. Upper right corner of upper "frame" was splitting a bit as well and was also repaired with glue and reinforced from the inside. Does have price sticker remnant on one side, some tape residue in the lower right repaired corner area as well as storage/use wear, mostly in the form of edge wear, small stains, scuffs, minor creases, etc. Plastic tray & lid are Very Good & overall clear, undamaged and straight with a few creases at the corners. * 497 Instructions are Excellent and overall like new; Nicely folded & flat, (were stored inside tray under plates) and basically show almost no signs of use.* 1980 Lego Assortment Guide insert is Excellent and overall like new and is the proper version for a US set.
