Description: For sale is a stunning rare light blue Murano vase in the Pulegoso technique, which incorporates thousands of air bubbles in the glass. This is attributed to Seguso Vetri dArte based on identification via a Segusa glass reference book, which would date it to about the 1950s. Vase is unmarked and in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is one line that runs across the base of this vase that appears to be from the blowing process, but please examine all photos for condition details. "The Pulegoso technique adds thousands of small air bubbles to the liquid glass, making for an almost foamy and semi-opaque appearance. As is the case with Pulegoso glass, the surface of the vase is textured from the bubbles, and the occasional tiny burst bubble can be found. The pontil mark at the bottom is polished. The vase has lovely curves, with a neckless lip, a wide middle and a heavy bottom. Let a light shine through the glass, it is marvelous!"
