Description: Vintage The Little Red Hen Miniature Size circa 1939 Philadephia school district. I dont see a single other listing on ebay or even google image search with this version of the book. It was given to my father in 1st grade. He was born in 1933, so it must be around 1939-41. There is no publisher listing or any other identifying text... Just the cover art, the interior story and illustrations. Very good condition except for edges and corners. There is an inscription from my grandmother regarding the book. "Bobby received this book in 1st grade". She held on to it and it was stored safely.. traveling thru time and arriving here and now to this listing on ebay. It may be worth more than I have listed it at given there is no other one to be found anywhere i can see. Super Rare. It may also be more common than i know.. but the lack of another image on the internet with this same cover tells me it is rare.
