How To Be A Furniture Detective authored by Fred Taylor. The book is undated as far I can see, but does appear to be a 1st printing. Paperback, and contains 144 pages. Has some color photographs, but mostly black & white, and a nice glossary of terms. Condition: light signs of use. 2.) Antique Furniture Expert: How you can Identify, Date and Authenticate authored by Peter Philip and Gillian Walkling. Printed in 1991 and appears to be a 1st printing. Hardback with dust jacket, and contains 336 pages. Has some color photographs, but mostly black & white, and is fully indexed. Condition: like new. 3.) How To Collect, Refinish & Restore Antique & Country Furniture: Furnish your home with beautiful antiques at less that the cost of buying modern reproductions authored by H. H. Damato. Printed in 1982 and appears to be a 1st printing. Paperback, and contains 336 pages. Has some color photographs, but mostly black & white, and is fully indexed. Condition: light signs of use. 4.) Old Furniture: Understanding the Craftsman’s Art; A Guide to Collection, Appreciation and Preservation authored by Nancy A. Smith. Printed in 1975 and appears to be a 1st printing. Paperback, and contains 191 pages. All black & white photographs and drawings, and is fully indexed. Condition: Wear to edges & corners, foxing to the edges of the text block, and a large crease to back cover.I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. Some of my photos may be somewhat lighter or darker than actual to better show detail or color. Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of these items. Any obvious defects are mentioned above in the individual book descriptions. Otherwise, there are only some light signs of age-related use or wear to the edges and corners and some light signs of shelf wear and edge wear to the covers and dust jacket. There are no markings, or stains to any of the pages and the books are all tightly bound, with no missing pages – see my photos. Please keep in mind these photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is. Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos, it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.
