VINTAGE MADEIRA BY FRANCISCAN 4 SALAD PLATES USA EXCOND. MULTIPLES AVAILABLE

Description: Vintage Madeira by Franciscan lot of 4 Salad Plates (there are 2 lots of 4 available or a total of 8 plates available) which are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or even use scratching. They have obviously had very little use and been well cared for. These plates measure 8 1/2 inches in diameter and have the older "tv" Franciscan mark. Madeira was introduced in 1967 and active until early 1983. The pattern is an embossed green floral design with primitive flowers, leaves and tendrils on a dark brown background. There is a green ombre striped area around the border. This pattern was very popular when introduced because of the widespread Spanish and Mediterranean influence in home decor and design at that time. It was one of the most popular sets chosen for "everyday" by young brides registering in department stores. I have listed several other pieces in this pattern and would be glad to combine shipping for multiple purchases where feasible. I have priced these pieces at far below replacement and resale sites. 1. All items I sell either come from or have been stored in a smoke free environment and are sold “as-is”. All items I sell are cleaned, washed, ironed and/or polished as necessary – I do not sell dirty items. I photograph and describe in detail to the best of my ability. UPS/Fedex may be slightly more expensive; however, they handle shipments quickly and carefully and are much more reliable and reputable in the unlikely event of damage/loss!
