Description: This compass housing came from a 1930s helco yacht, or so I have been told. It is in great shape for the most part. It is either teak or mahogany, I am not sure. It has a crack on one side of it where the wood is separating, but that would be due to age, I'm sure. Otherwise it is in great shape commensurate with age and use. It stands 10 in tall is 31 in 1/4 inch in circumference and the opening is 7 in wide. Not knowing much about boats either new or antique, I can't tell you a whole lot more about this piece. If there's any information that you need outside of what I have offered, please feel free to message me. Or if you have any comments that would help me with this, I would appreciate them greatly. Thanks again for looking.
