Description: Outstanding original 1997 Mark White Kinetic Sculpture entitled, "Fouettes". This was one of Mark's first pieces and is truly irreplaceable. Hand hammered copper in the shape of a dancer performing the ballet move, Fouettes. While hanging, this sculpture turns gracefully and cleanly, resembling the difficult ballet feat. The motion is mesmerizing and calming. It measures approx. 30 1/2" x 13". Mark has etched his signature onto the leg of the dancer. Gleaming copper on one side, and a beautiful patina on the other. Very slight bend on right toe-see pic, but it does not affect the elegant movement. A valuable piece of vintage work from one of today's most talented kinetic artists.
