Description: We have for sale a vintage marked "Stratton Made in England" powder makeup compact with mirror. It is in lovely lightly used condition with original description sticker still intact on the mirror. It measures approximately 3" in diameter and features a striking design of gold tone (with delicate vining) and black stripe detail. The included puff has separated into two piece dues to age (also shown in pics). All hinges are functioning and the compact opens and snaps closed nicely. This is from my mother Dorothy's (a Rosie the Riveter in WWII) collection. She was a fun, strong, and vibrant lady who had an eye for unique and beautiful items.
