Vintage Mattel MISS BARBIE Doll #1060 PINK RUFFLED SWIMSUIT & GLITTER SWIM CAP

Description: Up for sale are the original swimsuit and swim cap that came with the 1964 Mattel Miss Barbie (Sleep-Eye) doll. They are hard-to-find, especially in this condition. The suit is the version with painted gold dots (rather than applied glitter) and appears to have been removed from the doll when it was new and never used again! I see no signs of use at all. The cap does have quite a bit of the applied glitter, but the pink yarn seems to have faded with age - otherwise it is very nice as well. I did put a tissue inside the suit for the photos to help give it shape, but did not want to put it on a doll for fear of popping a stitch or two since it is so perfect!
