Description: I do not believe this container has ever been opened. The metal lid is not dented or warped, nor is the container itself. The lid is One Piece and has not been scored for opening as later lids were. I have not attempted to clean this at all. I did not see a date on this item but there is a 25 that has been written on the lid and on the bottom. This was probably the original price. The container feels full and you can hear the contents inside. I would date this somewhere in the 1930s to 1940s.
