Description: Here is a very cool looking MCM teak coffee table with a tile top from Gangso Mobler in Denmark. It's probably 1960s/70s and has that classic streamlined Danish look. The tile colors work beautifully off the slightly orangish teak and it really is an impressive MCM piece. It does have a few issues and hence the low price. One broken tile and also a lot of the tiles were off the table when I got it, so I reassembled them and they're quite snug and fit well in the table. However, I did not reglue them so I would not advise flipping the table over as the weight might cause one or two to fall out. Now I have seen other tables with similar designs online so it's possible to find a replacement tile and it could also be taken out and reglued to minimize the crack a bit. It has 18 tiles in all and they form a pyramid look in the center of the table. If all the tiles were perfect I would have priced it in the $500-600 range as it is still quite pretty, totally functional and very presentable. I will list the table as local pickup only but will be more than happy to facilitate shipping at the buyer's expense. Thanks for looking.
