Description: Vintage! Like New Condition! Ben Seibel for Mikasa. Habitat Collection. Duplex pattern. 33 Total Pieces. Made in Japan, circa 1970. In like-new condition, this very special MCM tableware set was designed by Ben Seibel and produced by Mikasa as part of their popular Habitat series. With service for six, the set includes (7) dinner plates, (6) bread/salad plates, (6) soup bowls, (6) coffee/teacups with saucers, (1) chop plate, and (1) serving bowl. Note: When I found this set, one dinner plate was missing. To complete the set I purchased (2) dinner plates in good condition from an Etsy seller. The Duplex pattern features a repeating pattern in shades of gold and brown. Plate rims are a bright, sunny yellow color, as are the soup bowls and coffee/teacups exteriors. Free from chip or scratches, these pieces shine like new. Some pieces show minor crazing consistent with age (see photos). All items are professionally packed and will ship in one 18 x 18 x 18 carton, with individual cartons inside to protect from damage. I have chosen FedEx Ground as preferred shipping based on cost, but I am happy to work with you to determine which shipping service you prefer, or which offers the most reasonable cost. Item will ship within 24 hours of sale unless communicated otherwise. Please let me know if you have any questions about this beautiful vintage set.
