Vintage Mid 1970's Browning #3318F2 Trapper Sportsman's Pocketknife Rosewood NOS

A.” on the front tang of the clip blade.SHIELD: NoneLINERS & PINS: BrassBOLSTERS: Nickel Silver YEAR OF MANUFACTURE: 1974 or later (I have a fairly complete set of Browning catalogs, and the information on this knife was taken from the 1974 Browning catalog, the first Browning catalog where I could find this model knife offered).BOX: Original, two-piece slip top box.PAPERWORK: “Browning Sportsman’s Pocket Knives” and tissue paper included.CONDITION: The knife cleaned up nicely. Both blades are full and give no appearance of having ever been sharpened or used. The bolsters are mirror-polished with no handling marks. The front handle has a crack that is about 1 & 1/2" long at the center pin; it has not split all the way to the bolsters, and does not appear that it will, but it is there, and could split out in time with usage, etc. The front handle is just a bit darker than the rear handle. The blades are tight as they pivot with no blade wobble. There are no breaks or tears in the box tray and lid, showing only shopworn nicks along the edges. It would appear that maybe the knife was stored in the box for all these years since it was manufactured and sold. I would rate the knife as 100% were it not for the crack in the front handle.PAYMENT: Checkout though the eBay portal, which provides multiple ways to make payment.
