Description: This is a vintage laundry hamper made by Detecto. Partial label still intact inside & the back panel is embossed, "Detecto Scales Hampers, New York". It is black enameled metal with a black enameled composition lid & bottom panel. It has 4 wood feet. Hand painted with pretty flowers. The hamper has a hinged lift lid. The hamper is 15" wide, 9" deep & 18" tall. In very good, vintage condition. All four wood feet, bottom panel & lid are intact. Shows some chipping to the back corners of the lid & bottom edge, shown in the photos. Shows a few small scratches, nicks & a few spots of light oxidation around the bottom edge. Charming!
