Description: This true bark cloth fabric looks like it's been in storage for many decades - it's so old I couldn't find any reference to the marks on the selvedge "Design Gay Nineties". My guess it's from the 40's or 50's, but I'm not sure. The design is of cute scenes of old-fashioned people from the turn of the century tootling along in their fancy first-generation automobiles with charming accents of leaning-over lampposts, rubbish bins, dog families, and pretty trees. Smells old...not musty, just old like it's been in storage forever. Some fold wrinkles and a bit of discoloration along the folds that will likely launder out - please inspect close-up pics.2 identical pieces; each about 34" wide by 43" long.
