Description: Very nice MOTOROLA, INC. (4545 W. Augusta Blvd - Chicago, IL) model number 57A1 circa 1957 table radio - with 5 vacuum tubes. Bakelite black-brown plastic radio case is in great condition - NO cracks, significant scratches or scuffs (see pics). Radio works well, brings in several local AM/BC stations with nice clear tone. Radio case, plated circuit inner works (very clean) and back (with working antenna adjuster) are all original. AC power cord is new. Volume and tuning knobs both turn smoothly. Size (approx.): H 5”, W 9.25”, D 4.75”Weight (approx.): 3 Lbs. From my personal collection – this one has been kept under glass for last 13+ years (in smoke and pet-free home).
