Description: VINTAGE VETRI MURANO EGG LAMP 1970s. This unique lamp did have a clear Vetri Murano sticker at one time, but it must’ve fallen off. It does however have the original Gilbert plug which is common to other Vetri lamps, and you can tell from the quality of the glass, the style and if you’ve ever seen the inside hardware of other Vetri lamps in similar styles, they’re identical. It stands 22 inches tall, 32 inches around the widest part of the “egg” and then 30 inches around the base. I recently replaced the socket on the inside so its even better than new. The entire thing is glass and it breaks down into 2 pieces. The top (or the shade) is a funky wavy design of white and crystal glass and the base it fits into. The base is solid white glass.
