Description: A dazzling and colorful translucent Murano Toucan handcrafted using the traditional Murano glass techniques. Murano glass is made by hand on the island of Murano in Venice, Italy. Made of solid blown glass with a small amber glass base and a body containing blue sommerso colored glass within clear glass. He has a clear glass tail, applied black and white glass eyes and a large amber glass beak. He is in beautiful condition with very light wear consistent with age and use. There are no cracks or chips. This piece is unmarked. He measures approximately 9 1/4" tall, 3 1/8" wide and about 8" deep.
