Description: Vintage Murano? Venetian Creme Glass Birds with Gold Foil and Leaves Necklace 22" This is a wonderful vintage necklace with 3 clusters of birds and leaves separated by additional glass beads. The birds and leaves are in lovely condition, only one leaf is missing half. Each bird and leaf is slightly different from the other, some birds have bigger eyes or beaks etc. because they are hand made. Each bird is covered with rich gold colorization. The necklace measures 22" long with a hanging length of 10.5". The latch is tight. I believe it to be the vintage original, but I am not sure, so selling as is. One of the pictures shows the wires holding the birds and leaves onto the stringing wire, but under normal wearing conditions it is not obvious, I wanted to show the vintage dark wire color. This necklace is very different and unique, and so delicate at the same time. Will be doubled box, packed well in a jewelry box and then put into a mailing box.
