Description: Native Alaska Yup’ik Eskimo handmade “Chevak” doll. It measures approx. 18”. I am do now know who the artist is. It is not signed. Hand sewn soft leather face with inset glass bead eyes. Stitched frowning mouth and eyebrows. Cotton parka and pants with skin boots and hands. One leg is longer than the other. Soiling to the face and light fading to the blue denim. Otherwise good condition. Please see photos as they will provide the most accurate description of the item.
