Description: This magnificent and traditional necklace represents the finest in Navajo craftsmanship. The silver work has a twisted coil around the turquoise setting and then a silver dotted and stamped frame with a flared blossom all connected by two strands of handcrafted beads. What really makes this necklace exemplary is the fabulous Bisbee turquoise (no longer mined) stones' beautiful color and intense webbing. The traditional 4 stone Naja is 2 1/2" x 2 3/4". The 14 Squash Blossoms are 2" long with varying widths according to the size of the turquoise stone. It was restrung professionally in 2010 due to old wiring deteriorating and breaking. Weight is 12.8 oz. Length is 30". Back of Naja has "Bisby" and 4500 written on it. Excellent condition and extraordinary quality.
