Description: Vintage Neil Gaiman Guardian Angel Tour T Shirt Circa 1999 Large Sandman. In excellent condition showing no stains, tears or holes. Prints on both sides are superb showing little to no ink loss and minimal cracking. Collar remains tight and strong, fabric shows little to no fading. All seams and hems are intact. Tag size large, measures 20 inches pit to pit and 28 inches shoulder to hem. If you are considering buying this garment to wear, please take note of the measurements given to be sure that they will suit your needs. Starting in 1993 and continuing through 2000, Neil Gaiman did reading tours called Guardian Angel to raise funds for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. In those years publishers, writers and artists were under fire from many quarters as part of the ongoing and sad history of moral panics in this country. Apparently, quite a bit of money was raised, though it seems as though little overall progress has been made. The artwork here is by noted comic artist Michael W. Kaluta. Packaged securely, shipped promptly.
