Description: NORTHEAST AIRLINES collectible footed coffee cup. One side says "Bahamas Inaugural Flight 1968." The other side has the signature logo yellow bird that Northeast used back in the day, especially for flights to the tropics. The cup will hold about 7 ounces liquid when filled to the brim, i.e. about 6 ounces without spilling the beverage. The bottom indicates that the cup was made for Northeast Airlines by the Hall China Co, USA. Size: approx. 3" high; bowl is 3" diameter at the widest; 4" wide including the handle. Condition: perfect - no chips or cracks, no mars or weird smells. It has been carefully stored in a pet-free, smoke-free home. Some of the photos may make the cup look lopsided, but it is not -- such are my photography skills. I thought I'd let this go for others to enjoy. It is from an era when flying was inspiring and glamorous, if lots more expensive for the average person (thank you, Mr. Reagan for airline deregulation.) The IRS VASTLY lowered the limit on how much a person can earn on third party platforms like eBay without paying income tax. So I don't get tagged with paying income tax on what I'd shell out for shipping (if I included it in my pricing,) I have separated out the shipping cost that I ask the buyer to pay, which is usually less than what I will pay for shipping.
