Description: Vintage Oval Platter 10.5x9” Pink Johnson Bros England, Old Britain Castles. On back, stamped w/#23. On front, motif is “Dudley Castle in 1792 H. Fennell.” Produced from 1930-2003 in Stoke-on-Trent, this pattern was designed by H. Fennell, who researched photos from books and steel engravings of different castles in Britain. The name of each as well as her name are at the bottom of each design. Excellent condition. Normal age crackling in the glaze.
