Description: Beautiful pair of Royal Doulton transferware plates were imported by George H. Bowman of Cleveland, OH. They feature portraits of George and Martha Washington, and pretty scalloped edges. Each plate is 10" in diameter, and dates back to ca. 1911-1930. There are stickers on the backs, which the previous owner had attached, stating that they bought these in 1998 for $65 apiece. They are in very good condition.
