Description: Traditional folk art from Tonala in the Guadalajara region of Mexico. This pair of burnished pottery owl figures are both hand decorated. The smaller owl is marked Mexico, the larger owl has no marking. Measurements are as follows:Larger owl stands 5-1/4 inches tall and 4-1/2 inches in length. Smaller owl stands 5 inches tall and 3-1/2 inches in length. Both are in overall good condition. The smaller owl has some scuffing on the sides of the head (see close up photos). Neither exhibits any chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. Selling as found, they have not been cleaned. Ships from a smoke free environment within 24 hours of payment.
