Description: This sale is for what appears to be a miniature paperweight. It is in the form of a thimble, but is solid and made of art glass. The piece has a label on the bottom identifying the maker as Pioneer Glass of Bellaire, Ohio, a company established at the site of the former Imperial Glass plant. I presume this piece was a souvenir sold or given away on site. The paperweight is made of a dark blue or cobalt glass with a spatter of orange. It stands about 2 inches high.
