Description: Pomona Tile Company, Pomona, CA 1923-1976 Selling tile designed by George Nelson (1908–1986), an American industrial designer and one of the founders of American Modernism. These tiles were made by Pomona. This listing is for 1 tile, but we have 45 pieces of this salvaged vintage tile for sale in any quantity. Cool design is recessed into the clay and covered with matte green glaze. We also have 9 matching triangle tiles. Square tile measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 1/4" thick. In very good condition; has some minor edge wear/teeny chips. Signed. We also have 11 corner pieces: 4 1/4" long x 2 1/4" on one side and 2" on the other - made by Pomona in the same color green (no pattern). Have 3 smaller corner pieces: 4 1/4" long x 3/4" on each side. Shown are design ideas. Use your imagination to create a truly unique installation.
