Description: This is a very nice clean porcelain Salt crock. The crock is 4 1/2" tall. There is no lid or cover. The shape is 6-sided, with the front and back sections being rounded where the other sides are straight. The color is white, with SALT lettered in gold on the front. There are 2 half-inch bands of flowers around the top and bottom: light colored blossoms on a black background. There is no maker's mark, but GERMANY is partially stamped on the bottom with the number 44 just beneath it. The number 2511 is stamped in the center of the underside, inside a small raised circle. This crock is meant to be wall-mounted. There is a porcelain lip that extends 2" up from the back section with a hole in it. The surface is smooth and clear - no crazing. The inside is very clean with slight discoloration of crock edges, consistent with age and use. Guaranteed 1-business-day turnaround shipping.
