The Ludion was a French Naïade-class submarine it was built by Gaston Ramazzoti, an early French sub engineer, at the Arsenal de Toulon in 1904 and put out of service in 1914. The Naïade-class submarines were the smallest French subs ever built. They had a better range than the other subs, but were somewhat erratic when underwater.
