The Stage Door Canteen was an entertainment venue founded by The American Theatre Wing in 1942 for American and Allied servicemen, that operated in the Broadway Theater district of New York City throughout World War II. The postcard was designed by Barney Tobey. The postcard is unused, and is in great, vintage condition, with both front and back surfaces clean and the colors bright. However, there is a diagonal crease to the bottom left corner of the postcard, and a small mark near the bottom edge.
