Description: OOAK Handmade by Shari Lutz, a folk artist from Pennsylvania, now retired. Upon obtaining this, I spoke with Ms. Lutz myself, who confirmed she made this in the early 90’s, and that only 5 or 6 were made. Back then, she sold these for $200. The Santa’s face is hand made and sculpted with clay, much like the Arnett Santa’s are still made today. The fur around his coat sleeves and hat are amazing. You can tell it’s been around for awhile. The beard and hair on the Santa are very unique too, again, indicative of age. The tree is adorned with miniature battery operated lights. Requires 3AA batteries, which aren’t included.
