Description: Here is a set of 94 quilt blocks in the Imperial T pattern, #1665, as shown in the Encyclopedia of Pieced Quilt Patterns compiled by Barbara Brackman. Pattern is categorized as an Equal Nine Patch with specific construction so named by the Ladies Art Company pattern #88. Design is also known as Capitol T, Tea For Four and Big T. Blocks are hand pieced and measure approximately 3 1/2" square. Fabrics are from the late 1800s possibly into the 1930s including woven plaids, shirtings, and indigos. There are a few cottons which appear to be more in the feedsack era. Please use the zoom feature on the photos. These are generally clean and ready to set. These can be set as four to a block as shown in the photos, or singly with sashing if preferred. Please note, some of the seam allowances are not a standard 1/4" to keep the square points when setting. All of the blocks are pictured. Item is for only the pictured blocks, no other materials, pattern or instructions are included.
