Description: VINTAGE-RARE- WWI Kaiser Wilhelm II Vertical Flag. This is a Rare vertical 2nd story banner flag in the colors of Imperial Germany and Kaiser Wilhelm II, from pre-1918. It was hung during public displays of adoration by the German populace during the reign of the Kaiser Wilhelm II, and during the war years between 1914-1918. It has NO moth holes, tears or other damage to the cloth. It does have slight water damage from the shoddy years of poor storage in West Germany before I obtained it in the early 70's. I was told I could get it cleaned but I would rather keep it in the condition that it is in now, because I don't know if cleaning it would cause any damage to the cloth, and I want to keep it as original as possible. The wooden hanging pole, colored hanging rope and all accouterments are all original.
