Hello...and Welcome! ~~DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE ~~ **PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION** Up for sale is a fabulous vintage Red Clay Japanese Side Handle Kyusu Tokoname Teapot with Mesh Screen. As one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan, Tokoname City has a long history of pottery and is best known for its teapots. The Tokoname Kyusu is crafted from carefully selected iron-rich clay which is unique to the region, and brings out the true flavor and aroma of Japanese tea. This teapot has Japanese writing on the one side, and also has its original paper label on the bottom. The spout does have a teeny chip on it, (not that noticeable, but I wanted to mention it) not sure if this was done in the manufacturing of the teapot, because it still has its original rubber protector on the end. It is clean and unusued... and was made in Japan. This adorable teapot measures 3" tall, and is 5" wide from handle to side of teapot. It is a GREAT collectible or to use... and oh, so gorgeous!
